Janice Combs General Manager

I was born and raised in Billings and with the exception of 2 years spent in the Salt Lake City Area.  I truly feel that I am fortunate to live in one of the best areas of the country and share that with my family.  I married my high school sweetheart and we are fortunate to have 3 wonderful children.  My family is the most important thing in my life.  Without them I would have way too much time on my hands to do nothing.  I enjoy camping, rodeos, playing cards, touring our wonderful state, or anything that includes spending time with my family and friends. I have worked for CARSTAR Auto Body Specialists since 1982 and love the industry as it is ever changing and no 2 days at the office are ever the same.  I have also worked in the industry developing and training Computer Management Systems for 3-M and Mitchell International.  I have been involved and taken I-CAR classes and worked with both the state and national associations that support the industry.  I am currently working on finishing my credits needed to achieve my AMI (automotive management institure) certification. jcombs@abscarstar.com

Tyler Harris Production Manager/Appraiser

I have literally grown up in this business. It opened by my first birthday and has been going strong ever since. I have swept the floors, thrown out the trash, pulled the weeds, painted the walls, maintained the equipment, and fixed dents. My dad felt that I could learn best "by doing" and working my way up from the bottom. Turns out he was right! (Although I may never admit it to him) This is my family business, not just because my family owns and operates it but the entire staff has become an extended family as well. Maybe someday my son will follow in his grandfather and father's footsteps and join our team too.          I have attended estimating seminars, classes, and workshops, repair to refinishing classes -  not to mention the Automotive Management Institute degree I continue to pursue. My specialties include air conditioning, air bag systems, and structural diagnosis and repairs. I have also had much experience with parts sales, transport, and distribution. With the job I do, I have to be very familiar with the entire repair process from start to finish, so I do a lot of homework and attend as many continuing education courses as I can. Shaun Combs Marketing Sales Manager With 25 years customer service, management, and marketing experience, Shaun comes to us fully charged and ready to explore new opportunities to promote and engage our CARSTAR Auto Body Specialists store.  If you don’t see him out in our community, he may be participating on an advisory board, attending a variety of marketing seminars, enjoying a rodeo or working on our next marketing opportunity.    Shaun grew up in the Greater Billings area.  He has achieved several designations throughout his career in tourism & travel along with recognition for his success in local, national and co-op marketing.  Currently Shaun sits as vice-chair on the board of directors for Custer Country – find out more about Custer Country at www.custercountry.com !     Send me an email

Brad Brewington Master Refinisher Brad joins our team at CARSTAR Auto Body Specialists with 25 years auto body and painting experience.  He is our BASF Certified Master Painter/Refinisher, is I-Car Certified, and is Graduate of Wyo-Tech, 1992.  He is an avid automobile hobbyist and is a kids' motor cross enthusiast!

Pat, our one and only Prep Paint Technician, works hard under the direction of Brad.  When he's not prepping the next vehicle to paint, he is busy expertly detailing the vehicles scheduled to deliver.  As a certified apprentice painter he has a degree from Wyo-Tech and has attended BASF schools for painters.     Pat Diekemper Refinish Prepper

Wayne Dienhart Master Auto Body Technician

Wayne has been a valued member of our team since 1981. He is our Master Auto Body Technician, has many I-car certifications, including welding, structural repair and analysis, plastics repair, aluminum panel bonding repair and straightening.  Wayne has completed CHIEF measuring structural damage repair analysis, electronic measuring analysis. He is an avid hunter and manages his own personal business.

Adam Tucker Body Technician Growing up in Billings, Montana, and graduating from Skyview High School with the Class of 2001.  Adam continued his education with the US Army as a Combat Engineer, after his tour was complete, Adam, decided to apply his demolition skills and pursue his life long dream of auto collision repair.  Working under the direction of our Master Mechanic Wayne Dienhart, Adam continues to pay great attention to detail, ensuring a great job well done.

Kenny Becker Body Technician Growing up in Culbertson/Plentywood Montana and later moving to Billings, Kenny worked for his dad in a paint shop doing bodywork, plastic repair and fiberglass. Kenny brings great knowledge of the industry while he works under the direction of Wayne.  Kenny is currently working on his I-Car certifications and studying on his ASE tests.  He loves to ride snowmobiles in the mountains.
